Accessibility at The Astelle
Last reviewed June 14, 2026
The Astelle is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time project.
Our commitment
We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most widely referenced for accessible websites. We design, build, and test this site with accessibility in mind, and we review it as we add new pages and features. We do not claim full conformance: accessibility is an ongoing effort, and if you find something that does not work for you, we want to hear about it.
Measures we take
Among the steps we have taken to make this site accessible:
- A "skip to content" link so keyboard users can jump past navigation
- Semantic page structure with one main heading per page and clear heading order
- Landmark regions (navigation, main content, footer) for assistive technology
- Full keyboard operability, including the mobile navigation menu, with a visible focus indicator
- Color combinations chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast
- Respect for the operating-system "reduce motion" setting
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images
- Content offered in both English and Spanish, with the correct page language declared for screen readers
Reporting a barrier
If you encounter a barrier on this site, or need information in a different format, please contact us. Tell us the page and the problem, and we will work to provide the information or service you need. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.
Accessibility feedback
Requests for a reasonable accommodation related to the housing itself are also welcome at this address, and will be directed to the leasing team.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We continue to review and improve this site, and we welcome feedback that helps us do better.
